Late Fee Increase
Dear Tenant,
As of January 1, 2025, the late fee for lot rent will increase to $45 and the late fee for rentals will
increase to $115. Monthly rent will not increase at this time. All rent is due by the 5 th of the
month, or a late fee will be charged.
Please remember to keep all pets contained to your lot at all times. We are working closely with
Chatham County Animal Control to help improve the issues with stray dogs, cats, and other
animals. If animals are not contained to your lot, they run the risk of being picked up by Animal
Control. If you have an issue with animals, please reach out directly to Animal Control and file a
complaint. After you have filed a complaint with Animal Control, please let the front office know
so management can follow up.
Please remember:
The park does not allow chickens, turkeys, roosters, any other outside bird, or farm animal.
These animals must be removed immediately.
All pets and animals must be contained to your lot at all times. Animals are not allowed to be
tethered outside and cannot stay outside 24 hours a day.
You are responsible for your lot. Grass must be cut and leaves raked. Management will be
sending notices to any lot that is in violation.
Chatham County does not allow any burning unless it is yard debris. If you are burning yard
debris, please remember to be safe and always monitor the fire.
Trespassing on adjacent properties is prohibited. No four wheelers, dirt bikes or golf carts are to
be driven in the park. Open-air markets are not allowed on the property of Highland Woods. The
park does not allow ANYONE to prepare and sell food, crafts, baked goods, or other items on
park property. This causes many issues for our tenants. Please reach out to the front office if
you are having issues with food vendors so that we can have them removed.
Thank you,
Management
